The warm, articulate, woody tone of this increasingly rare early 1960s Kay-built Silvertone resonator banjo has made this one a real shop favorite, ideal for session work, vocal accompaniment, and porch jams alike. A gently aged sunburst maple resonator projects a balanced, saturated voice, while a familiar rosewood fingerboard, original tuners and hardware, and comfortable 11" head makes this banjo feel just like home. Notes:
This early 1960s Silvertone (Kay) USA 5-String 11" Resonator Banjo is in Very Good condition, fully functional, with very light wear consistent with age and occasional home use, including a few small surface dings in resonator (pictured). Includes padded gig bag.
