Savage, Minnesota-based luthier James Claseman's years of experience as a violin builder and repair person absolutely shine through this beautifully crafted and addictively playable Lutz spruce/figured ziricote 00 acoustic, the 4th this up-and-coming builder has completed—and honestly, probably one of the last times we'll see a Claseman at such an accessible price point.

Tastefully double-bound in padauk, with a striking matching padauk rosette and familiar, classical-inspired Honduran mahogany shallow "C" shape neck, a fingerstyle-friendly 1 3/4" nut width and low, even action across a 24.9" scale ebony fingerboard make this easily one of the finest luthier-built instruments we've ever purchased—so we've thrown in a new Access Stage 1 padded gig bag to be sure it's ready for its first gig.
