A gently aged solid spruce top and all-solid tonewood construction make this well-traveled Early 2000s Martin Steel String Backpacker every bit the road-ready touring companion, with a seasoned mellow, articulate warmth. Notes:
This Early 2000s Martin Steel String Backpacker is in Good condition, with visible wear consistent with age and appropriate use. Series of surface dings on back of neck (pictured) does not affect playability or performance. An unfortunately common issue for solid-top travel guitars, the spruce top is sinking around the soundhole, while bellying at the bridge (pictured). Humidification has and will continue to help, but this instrument plays with medium action above the 5th fret. Includes original padded gig bag.
All instruments from the Old Town School Music Store are professionally evaluated and set-up prior to shipping, and directly support our missions, programs, and continued growth.
