The Pisgah Appalachian is all you need if you are looking for a quality step-up banjo! Its a simple, classic, no frills banjo and is similar in features to the Pisgah Possum, however includes a rolled brass tone ring instead of persimmon to give a little more punch to the tone. This banjo is perfect for anyone looking for a solid heirloom banjo that can be played for centuries and dosen't break the bank.
“Classic” Old-Time sound with good sustain and volume, not too bright and not overpowering. Can be muted for a more plunky tone.
