An increasingly rare retail line handbuilt by Boulder, CO-based ODE banjos in the early 1960s, this beautifully aged Muse Style No. 1 Longneck 11" Banjo boasts a silky smooth mahogany/maple neck with a familiar rosewood fingerboard, and the timeless crisp response, projection, and tonal balance of an 11" aluminum rim with an arched top tone ring. Original to this instrument, a striking brass tailpiece adds welcome sustain and blend, while early "Patent Pending" sealed Grover tuners ensure every note lands right where it should.
